Young Leaders in Mental Health

Existing treatments improve the lives of 70-90 percent of Americans with psychiatric disorders, and more effective treatments and preventive strategies are published every year. Yet stigma surrounding these disorders diminishes confidence that mental disorders are real, treatable health conditions. Education, awareness and advocacy are needed to ensure healthier individuals, families and communities.

Through our Young Leaders in Mental Health group, the next generation is stepping up to:
  • Advocate for education, successful treatment and scientific research of mental illness
  • Increase awareness of psychiatric disorders
  • Create a future where those who suffer have access to resources
  • Pledge that the stigma of mental illness will not burden the next generation
Be a part of this change. Join Young Leaders in Mental Health and help make a difference today while learning from the experts at Menninger.
