Dr. Sharp is a prolific presenter and writer, having extensively published papers and book chapters. She is lead editor of Social Cognition and Developmental Psychopathology and a co-author of Midbrain Mutiny: The Picoeconomic and Neureconomics of Disordered Gambling. She is the recipient of numerous academic awards and is active in professional organizations.
Born in South Africa, Dr. Sharp received her undergraduate training at the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa, and her graduate training at The University of Cambridge, UK.
