Menninger is pleased to offer Ethics and Science in Treatment: Switching Lenses, which will be presented by Jon G. Allen, PhD, a noted author and researcher as well as the former director of Psychology at Menninger, on April 26 from 9 am to noon.
Integrating ethics and science, this presentation will include topics such as therapeutic neutrality, fundamental values in ethical thought, personal influence, trust and trustworthiness, happiness and well-being, balancing love and respect, the role of community, spirituality and hope.
The workshop aims to broaden professionals’ perspectives and to heighten awareness of switching lenses, emphasizing the importance of grounding of our therapeutic work in explicit and personal ethical values.
3.0 ethics contact/credit/clock hours have been designated by The Menninger Clinic for the following disciplines: physicians, psychologists, social workers, licensed professional counselors and addictions professionals.
The registration fee is $75 for professionals and $35 for students.
