Dr. John Oldham to Preside Over APA Annual Meeting

Wednesday, April 25, 2012

Menninger’s Chief of Staff John M. Oldham, MD, MS, will be completing his year as president of the American Psychiatric Association (APA) when he presides over the association’s annual meeting May 5-9 in Philadelphia. Menninger’s new campus and its services will be spotlighted in an exhibit at the internationally attended APA meeting.

If you’re planning on attending, stop by the Menninger booth, No. 1601, near the exhibit hall entrance closest to the Career Fair. Dr. Oldham will be at the booth Tuesday, May 8, from 2-4 pm.

On May 7, Ted Kennedy Jr. will present the APA’s annual William C. Menninger Memorial Lecture, which is named after The Clinic’s co-founder and former president of the APA. Kennedy currently serves as president of the Marwood Group, a firm that advises corporations about health care and financial services, and is on the board of directors of the American Association of People with Disabilities.
