NFL Star Brandon Marshall Named Keynote Speaker for Annual Luncheon

Friday, February 22, 2019

brandon-marshallChaired by Kate and Jim Lykes, Menninger's 2019 Signature Luncheon will feature a candid conversation with NFL wide receiver Brandon Marshall, pictured, who has been diagnosed with borderline personality disorder.

The luncheon will be held Thursday, May 2, at the Hilton Houston Post Oak by the Galleria. Tickets are now available.

Since his diagnosis, Brandon has dedicated himself to giving a voice to the one in five Americans living with a mental health condition. Together with his wife Michi, he co-founded Project 375, a non-profit organization that works to improve early mental health intervention for adolescents.

Each year, The Menninger Clinic’s Signature Luncheon brings together the Greater Houston community to increase awareness of mental health issues and to raise crucial funding for The Clinic’s research, training programs and community engagement. Attendees at the luncheon will stand with Kate and Jim Lykes, Brandon and Michi Marshall, and Menninger to combat the stigma of mental illness.
