Length of stay
At Menninger, the length of treatment is flexible and depends on the severity of the patient’s symptoms, goals for treatment and progress in treatment.

The length of stay will be discussed by the treatment team, patient, family and when appropriate, the referring professional to identify reasonable goals for treatment.


Average stay in the Adolescent Treatment Program

• Adolescent Assessment and Treatment Program 3 to 8 weeks
• Adolescent Day Hospital Program 6 to 10 weeks
