Dr. Yi manages the full range of psychiatric needs for patients in the Menninger Eating Disorders Program.

Dr. Yi has 20 years experience in addiction psychiatry and caring for patients with addiction and co-occurring psychiatric disorders. She presents on the challenges of treating individuals with co-occurring disorders at national conferences.

Previously, Dr. Yi served as addiction psychiatrist for the Menninger Professionals in Crisis Program, a specialty inpatient treatment program for women and men in high-performance fields who are experiencing difficulty managing their career and relationships because of comorbid psychiatric, substance abuse and personality disorders.

Dr. Yi is certified in addiction medicine by the American Society of Addiction Medicine and is board certified in addiction psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology. She completed her psychiatric residency at the UCLA Neuropsychiatric Institute and the University of Southern California.

Before joining Menninger in 2003, she served on the faculty at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California and Cornell Medical College in New York.
