A trusted resource
The Bulletin of The Menninger Clinic was first published by Menninger in 1936. Dr. Karl Menninger's wife, Jeanetta Lyle Menninger, oversaw the publication for 35 years.

The Bulletin began as a way to record the work of Menninger researchers and treaters. The first volume contained 34 pages and four articles, three concerning neurological conditions, four six-line book reviews and summaries of four recent publications by members of The Menninger Clinic staff.

The Bulletin marked its 50th anniversary in 1986, and its editor at that time, the late Dr. Paul W. Pruyser, re-affirmed the purpose of the publication as "providing a forum for authors in diverse settings who exemplify a commitment to knowledge that will benefit mentally troubled persons."
