Employees can choose an open access plan (PPO) or health maintenance organization (HMO) plan provided by Cigna Healthcare.
A Dental PPO plan that covers preventive, basic, major and orthodontic services is available for eligible employees.
The Menninger Clinic provides a Vision plan (VSP) that is company-paid for employee-only elections. It includes a complete eye exam and contact lenses or eyeglasses.
Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
The EAP is designed to provide full-time and part-time employees as well as their dependents with professional, cost-effective assistance in resolving difficult personal problems. Individual, voluntary involvement in the EAP is confidential.
Life, Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance
Life insurance is available for full-time employees. The Menninger Clinic provides full-time employees group life, accidental death and dismemberment insurance at two times their annual salary. Employees can elect additional optional life insurance as well as AD&D coverage for themselves, their spouse and child(ren).
Disability insurance is available for full-time employees. The Menninger Clinic provides full-time employees long-term disability insurance in the amount of 60 percent of the employee’s monthly salary. Employees can elect additional optional short-term disability insurance in the amount of 60 percent of the employee’s weekly salary.
403(b) Retirement Investment Plan
Upon hire, employees are automatically enrolled. Upon an employee's one-year anniversary, The Menninger Clinic matches the employee's contribution dollar-for-dollar up to 5 percent of salary. Employees can contribute the maximum amount set annually by the IRS. The Menninger Clinic contracts with Fidelity Investments.
Education assistance is available to employees after 90 days of employment.
