Annual Giving

We envisioned a better kind of medicine and a better kind of world.

- Dr. Charles F. Menninger, co-founder (1862-1953)

Gifts to our Annual Fund make possible research, training and educational activities at Menninger. Many of our Annual Fund donors, some of whom have been giving for decades, tell us they choose to support the Annual Fund because their gifts will go where they're needed most.

Research Support

Annual Fund gifts are vital to our research efforts. Our research results in papers that are published in peer-reviewed scholarly journals and read by clinicians across the country who use the information to help improve their patients' quality of life. This is one way your gift to Menninger's Annual Fund can have national reach.

Training and Education Support

The need for training and education support is clear: The U.S. continues to experience a critical shortage of trained mental health professionals, while demand for mental health care grows.
At Menninger, our clinicians oversee the training of more than 150 mental health professionals who come to us as part of their formal education each year. Once our trainees graduate or complete their postdoctoral or postgraduate training, they settle in all regions of the U.S., bringing with them an intensive training in Menninger's treatment philosophy to use in their practices. Now more than ever, our training programs, supported by the Annual Fund, are providing a vital service.

Meeting the Need

Please make a gift to our Annual Fund, which helps us to advance what the world knows about diagnosing and treating severe, complex mental illness and to train mental health professionals.
