Addictions Psychiatrist Offers Perspective on Online Gambling

Dr. Thomas shared his clinical perspective on the trend in an interview with KPRC Channel 2 in Houston.


Dr. Thomas is board certified in psychiatry, neurology and addiction medicine and leads treatment teams on the Professionals in Crisis Program at Menninger. He is also an assistant professor in the Menninger Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences at Baylor College of Medicine.


A Fulbright Scholar, Dr. Thomas completed a fellowship in borderline personality disorder, a psychiatry residency and an internship at the University of California - Los Angeles. He earned his medical and doctorate degrees from the University of Washington and his bachelor's degree from Rice University.
