President and CEO Receives National Honor

coffey-c-edward-portrait-2015-websiteThe Menninger Clinic's President and Chief Executive Officer, C. Edward Coffey, MD, was inducted into the American College of Psychiatrists Friday, February 19, during the College's annual meeting in Puerto Rico.


Members of the College, which is a nonprofit honorary society, number "more than 750 psychiatrists who have demonstrated excellence in the field of psychiatry, and achieved national recognition in clinical practice, research, academic leadership or teaching."


A neuropsychiatrist, Dr. Coffey assumed the leadership of The Clinic in the fall of 2014. Prior to coming to Menninger, he served as vice president of the private seven-hospital, not-for-profit Henry Ford Health System in Detroit and concurrently as CEO of Henry Ford Behavioral Health Services and Chair of Psychiatry for the Henry Ford Medical Group.
