As a staff therapist with more than six years of experience, Candice offers special expertise in trauma (particularly sexual assault and abuse); transgender, nonbinary and queer identities; and LGBTQ+ sexuality and relationships.
Candice is a member of several professional organizations, including the Texas Association of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Issues in Counseling, the American Counseling Association and the Texas Counseling Association. In addition, she has given presentations at the Texas Association Against Sexual Assault and Houston Police Department conferences.
She earned a bachelor’s degree in Religious Studies and Journalism from the University of Texas and a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Houston.
In her free time, Candice loves spending time with her dogs, Tova and Cooper, going to museums and watching really terrible horror movies.
